Kanach Zham Church in Shushi partially destroyed

A video posted on Facebook shows the Kanach Zham Church in Shushi/Shusha, also known as the church of St. John the Baptist, partially destroyed. It appears that the dome and the bell tower of the church were toppled after the ceasefire on November 10.

An analysis conducted by Hovhannes Nazaretyan identifies the structure and confirms the damage.

The Russian church says the St. John the Baptist was originally an Orthodox Church.
